The majority of health insurance carriers do offer routine eye care coverage. “Flex” plans also offer coverage for routine eye care. The easiest way to determine if you have benefits available is to call the benefit number on your insurance card and ask about routine eye care. That refers to eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and even laser vision correction.
