Dr. Jeffrey Holland
Owner/Optometrist
Dr. Jeffrey Holland is a Boulder native. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts, and later went on to Pacific University in Oregon where he graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry in 2002. During his time at Pacific, Dr. Holland was the president of ‘Amigos Eye Care’, where he organized and participated in eye care trips to developing countries. Dr. Holland is very dedicated to his profession and enjoys attending vision conferences each year with members of his staff to keep up on new trends and technologies in the eye care industry. Away from work Dr. Holland enjoys traveling, exercise and watching sports with his two children.
Dr. Annie Wester
Optometrist
Originally from farm country Iowa, Dr. Annie Wester earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Iowa State University in 2016. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2020 and spent five years practicing in Arvada before joining College Optical in 2026.
Throughout optometry school, Dr. Wester received multiple awards recognizing her academic achievement and clinical excellence. She is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.
Dr. Wester is trained in the full scope of optometric care, including ocular disease diagnosis and management, post-surgical care, specialty contact lenses, and binocular vision. She is passionate about caring for patients of all ages — from toddlers to grandparents — and enjoys helping families with a wide variety of vision and eye health needs.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Wester enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dog. Her hobbies include caring for her many houseplants, crafting, resistance training, and hiking. She lives in South Boulder with her fiancé, Taylor, and their mini Australian Shepherd, Indie.
Alec Williams
Vision Care & Optics
Coming from another family-owned business in Missouri, Alec has been working in the optical field for six years. He joined College Optical in 2025 shortly after moving to Colorado to continue his physics education at CU.
Drawing on the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years, Alec strives to answer any questions you may have and ensure you are seeing your best with your glasses. His background includes work in both medical and experimental optical labs, giving him a well-rounded understanding of vision care and optics.
When he’s not at work, you might find Alec playing card games, stargazing, or exploring local trails through hiking and biking.
Kaylie Marlowe
Sales & Styling
With nearly three years in the optical industry, I’ve developed a passion for helping patients find frames that fit both their vision needs and personal style. My experience includes frame styling and sales, reception coordination, and working with advanced diagnostic imaging technology.
Outside of the optical world, I’m an artist at heart who loves bringing creativity, positivity, and a little fun into everyday interactions, staying involved in my community and creating meaningful connections wherever I can.
Kelly Parish
Optician
Kelly is our optician with over 20 years experience. Specializing in styling high end and bespoke eyewear, her knowledge is an asset to our optical. In her free time she enjoys relaxing at home with her family. Come in and let Kelly help you find your perfect frame!
Rebecca Farley
Optician
As an optician at College Optical, I specialize in helping patients find modern eyewear and advanced lens options that enhance both their vision and personal style. With experience in both optical sales and front desk support, I strive to create a welcoming, personalized experience for every patient.
I’m passionate about helping people choose eyewear that is functional, fashionable, and confidence-boosting while ensuring they receive quality vision care tailored to their needs. My goal is to help every patient look, see, and feel their best.
Clive Holland
Patient Care
Clive Holland joined the team at College Optical in 2026 as a pre-tester and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. He takes pride in providing attentive service and helping ensure each patient receives an accurate, efficient, and positive experience at the office.
Outside of work, Clive enjoys boxing, hiking, and staying active in the gym. Looking toward the future, he is interested in either continuing his family’s optometry practice or pursuing a career as an electrician. His strong work ethic, friendly attitude, and attention to detail make him a valued part of the team.
